The fog has rolled in...

This is a picture of the fog rolling through San Francisco. I selected this picture to share because I am missing the Bay Area and my friends, and I am struggling to find the energy and creativity to find something to write about...my mind is foggy. My neighbor took the photo above and the one directly below...if I didn't know he took these I would think they were photoshopped.
In years gone by I played golf regularly in San Francisco and from one of the holes you could view the Golden Gate Bridge. I lived in SF (by the way don't call it San Fran) and in various other cities in the Bay Area. I never grew tired of the views. When I lived in SF I would walk/jog the Lyon Street steps (all 288) for the view. I made this trek several times a week.
Remember, what goes up must come down...especially when your flat is at the bottom of the steps.
The view below is from the top of the Lyon Street steps.
A spectacular view of the bay!

Thanks for stopping by...

Beautiful photos! It is an idyllic place, isn't it? If it wasn't so darn expensive...and all the way across the country, I'd live there! PJ

Beautiful pictures and I haven't been to San Francisco in about two years. I miss it too. It must have been wonderful to live there.

SF is beautiful! I was there once long time ago! And the drive from LA isn't to bad either!

My hubby and I lived in Alameda for 5 years, and he lived in the Sunset District before that. We loved "the city" and have many found memories there. We just couldn't afford a home!
