Cozy Gazebo…

ginny 009

My friend Ginny’s backyard is spectacular and her gazebo is inviting and cozy, and she was kind enough to let me share it with you. The photos were taken on my phone and aren’t the best. Enjoy the 360 tour.

Ready for the 4th of July…

0621 001

This is one of my favorite homes in the neighborhood. They always decorate for the 4th with flag bunting. This year I dropped in and asked the homeowners where they got their bunting. So now I am on the hunt for some. This home used to be a four-plex and the owners restored it to a beautiful single family home.

The hood...

Love my neighborhood...it is old, eclectic and charming. One block away from my home there are some spectacular homes, and where I have found many great free finds and the street you want to be on during our annual garage sale. I love driving down this street at night because the round light fixtures are green so the lighting is beautiful...so different than the boring white street lights. As in many neighborhoods the price of homes can range dramatically ($200k to millons) and that is exactly how it is in our neighborhood. Fortunately, thanks to my dog, I walk the neighborhood daily and I never tire of the view.

The house pictured above is one of my favorites. I met the owner one day and told him how much I loved his house and shared that it reminded me of California. He told me that the original owner was from California and planned to build the house in California but couldn't afford to do so and somehow ended up in Minnesota.

The following three pictures are of my favorite neighborhood house. It has been featured in magazines and on TV.

The following two pictures are of a house that was just built last summer/fall.
