I found this watercolor in a shop somewhere in the Long Beach, Washington area. The blue and pops of green along with how much I enjoy coloring outside the lines captured my attention. Looks like it was painted in 1969. Put it in a frame I already had and didn’t bother to pay to mat it and like it just they way it is.

You can feel and hear the movement of the water and the breeze upon it in that painting. Nice.
SUCH A BEAUTIFUL PAINTING!ENJOYED YOUR BLOG.HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND!
Watercolor is my favorite as well. There is something very quiet in a watercolor paintint yet you still have the movement & intention of the art itself. Probably why I love Potter painting (i'm a bunny fanatic) so very much. This particular painting you scooped up depicts the water living very well. I love it.
I love watercolors and you just gave me a wonderful idea for a post.

I love this painting too. So glad you shared it!
Why do you love them? Because they're awesome! I took a one day watercolor class one time and wish I could do it again...so much fun!!
I love the watercolor! The blues and greens are beautiful! I usually collect oil painting. Maybe I'll start collecting watercolors now!;D
I also love watercolors. I think it is because it reminds me of all those French impressionist artists and I just loooove that stuff. Watercolors are just dreamy and romantic. That painting is beautiful.
All the best,
Allison
