Always looking for containers to hold firewood. Anything either on wheels or small enough to push or drag and fits in the garage is the best...so I can easily rearrange...which I do often. The neighbors were remodeling an old home and the contractor threw out the wash tubs. Thankfully they were on the top of the dumpster when I spotted them.
An old flour drawer and wine crate with wheels are perfect. If I find some cheap wheels I will add them to the flour drawer.

I love those washtubs! They remind me so much of my grandma's house when I was a child, with those in the barn and in the house, too.
Oh my gosh, I love your wash tubs! When my husband and I were back to the family farm near Eau Claire, WI this past October, I asked my Mom if I could one day have her wash tubs. Don't know what I would do with them here in Phoenix!
\Anyway, I found your blog through ROMANTIC HOMES and I am loving your blog! I read through your whole blog!
Welcome to blogdom! I will be back visiting often.
What great finds!! Amazing what some people think is trash! Those would be treasured by me too. :o)
I am really enjoying your blog.

I totally agree with you. They can come very handy especially if you live in the North East part of the country :)
