Homemade pasta…

080809 001
It isn’t very often I buy new…but every once in a while I do. I love making pasta from scratch. For the past 10+ years I have been making fettuccine and spaghetti, and have wanted to get additional attachments for my pasta maker…however they are usually more than what I want to spend. Today one of the local kitchen stores was having a massive sale as there was a big art fair going on in the neighborhood…so I bought the lasagna (and linguine) attachment in the picture above. I was fine paying $12 for it.

They also had my favorite magnetic measuring spoons (that I blogged about back in January) on sale…so I bought four sets. I will keep two sets and give away the other two sets…when people see mine they always want a set…so it is nice to have some on hand to give away. I like having four sets ‘attached’ to the stove…that way I don’t have to did in a drawer for them, and they are handy, and once I start cooking or baking I usually end up making several dishes at one time…so it nice to have multiple sets.

You cook too! You're putting us all to shame, Renee. You should post about something you don't know how to do or something you do badly or a messy closet or something!

You need to have a GIVE-A-WAY for your readers and offer those extra magnetic measuring spoons, now we want them too and we saw them before someone else did-doesn't that make all the sense in the world to do a give-a-way??

Sorry-I've been out of commission -- terribly sick for over a week-- but do you want to know how I cut my grocery bill in half? go to Cut your grocery bills now plus I have a give a way and a new Mr Linky party starting tomorrow but Mr Linky will be up by 8 p.m. tonight

Its So Very Cheri

Hi Renee,
What time is dinner???
That is cool that you went to Junkmarket gal garage sale...I didn't even know she had one...and looks like the one in your neighborhood was also a great sale.
