The agates are beautiful; the puzzle is for people (unlike me) who have patience. :)
when i was a girl, my grandmoter did puzzles all the time... she would leave it sitting on a side table on the front porch, and anyone that walked by was welcome to pick up a piece and find it's place... it might take a week or two to complete the puzzle this way...(we lived on a farm so there wasn't a lot of time to sit and play with puzzles)... but everytime I see a puzzle... I think of my grandmother and her unending patience...

it's really pretty, but looks really hard to me. i love puzzles too.
What a pretty puzzle! My mom and son have recently started to do puzzles together. As she grows older, she says its good for her eyes and they are wonderful for my 3 year old's fine motor skills... and even better--- they are creating special memories along the way!
I'm always on the lookout for puzzles at garage sales for them!
Have a wonderful day,

Gulp. This might be only 500 pieces but it would totally do me in! Love the picture!
When our children were young we used to do puzzles in the winter time. We mae a deal everytime. I didn't have to cook a meal until the puzzle was put together and taken OFF the kitchen table. It made everyone work a little harder, and even DH would join in when he got hungry enough!
Agates are on the shore like that!? I'd love to find one!
