Love at first sight…

0528 009
I spotted this fabulous blue and white strainer at a garage sale this weekend. It was priced at $6…it would have been great to get it for less…but I wasn’t going home without it…so I forked over the $6. I am smitten. Love everything about it…colors, design, three cute feet on the bottom, and that it is a triangle form more or less. I immediately used it for rinsing tomatoes…not only is it useful as a strainer I think it would make for a cool serving dish (strawberries, grapes).

I love it enough that I may just leave it sitting out on the coroner of the sink all the time.

I have one of those, but it's red and white! I love mine too. I put my dish soap and pot scrubbers in it. Is that the original purpose for them? I don't know, I just love it anyway!

I love that strainer. The shape and size are great! Now why haven't I found one of those in all the garage sales I've been to in my lifetime?! LOL

I really love the glass cannisters with the teacup scoops. What a clever idea.
