The mermaid is a gift from my neighbors Bill and Linda. I am working on finding just the right place for her…a place where I will see her all the time. Right now she is hanging on the pantry doors in the kitchen. I call them pantry doors, but there isn’t food behind the doors…just my washer and dryer.

What a sweet gift ... perfectly placed. TTFN ~Marydon
Just stumbled upon your blog via the Farm Chick's blog...
Saw the mermaid and had to read. I love mermaids. I think of the as "angels of the sea". I actually have the exact same mermaid that you have, only much smaller. I hang it on my Christmas tree. A friend who lives in Kennebunkport, Maine gave it to me.
Happy Summer!
