Handpainted Screen...

Bought this handpainted wood screen in Monterey, CA in 1991. I used it as a screen in front of my fireplace until I moved to my current house 6 years ago. When my dog was a puppy I used it to keep her out of various rooms. I always thought it would be fun as display or for play in a little girls room. I think the time has come to sell it. Take a look at the details on the houses.

Hi, I'm really enjoying your blog.

The wood screen reminds me of a decoration my mother used to have when I was a child. It was a row of wooden houses, that sat on her console table.
