It is nice to know talented people...

Some of the windows in my 1906 house are an odd size. I would love to know why. My talented friend Anne has a stain glass business called Withane Designs so when I moved in six years ago I hired her to make three stain glass pieces. The two pieces below are based on quilt patterns.

I also bought this one from her and it hangs in my kitchen window. The spoon handle actually extends out from the stain glass.

These are so pretty! And you have just given me a GREAT IDEA! (I have a very old home also and know what a challenge they can be.) But my window in my staircase is the biggest problem because of being hard to get to. After seeing your windows I think that would be a great solution to the problem. Then it would be pretty and I wouldn't have to hang a curtain. Thank you for posting this. ;)
