Blue Afghan...

Bought this blue afghan at an estate sale for $2. Love the variety of blues. It needs some TLC. My crochet skills are probably not adequate enough to make the repairs...so  for now it is decoration only. I wonder when it was made and how long it took to make. There were a bunch of other afghans at the sale but this was the only one in my color scheme.

I regularly change out the quilts on the chair below. The quilt on the seat of the chair is made out of old jeans from friends and family...and is a favorite of Lollie (see sidebar for a picture).
Thanks for stopping by...

Renee, that is beautiful! I have some crocheted pieces by my MIL that are blue and white. They are very beautiful. I didn't even know crochet could be repaired, so you are that much ahead of me!

OH Renee!! That looks so GORGEOUS!! it reminds me so much of summer and I'm just dying for the snow to stop, so this was a perfect site to see this morning! ( as we have 4 more inches today of the white stuff, lol )

Your quilts look amazing too in the background of this last picture!! I love the nautical touches too! Oh I am drooling over your pics and home!

Great Job sweetie! Hugs, Cynthia
