Ice Tea…

0906 057
Bought this glass coffee pot at a garage sale for $1. I loved the style. I don’t drink coffee but I thought it would make a good ice tea pot.

When I had it apart cleaning the pieces it struck me that the primary container on its own would make a cool vase for flowers.

I used this pyrex teapot for years in my first marriage to make iced tea, filling it halfway, let it boil and then throw in the tea bags.
Then I'd throw in a cup of sugar, let it melt, then fill to the brim with cool water.

It was always perfect, and I miss that pot today.
