Found this incredible piece on the street in the neighborhood. Thankfully my friend April was there to help me load it. Lifting and carrying the top cushion is a two person job, let along the base. It is 6 feet long and 24 inches deep. I think it would make a great ottoman for the metal three-piece sofa I bought recently and put on my 3rd floor. Not sure when I will get around to doing something with it. The base looks like it was covered in ticking.
It looks like it was some type of sofa with a back attached to a base. My neighbor is going to saw off the metal pieces.
Here is what the back of the top cushion looks like.

Happy Monday Renee. What a neat old piece. Very unusal which equates to very cool! Can't wait to see the outcome with this one.

Geez, you're a freakin' human magnet for this awesome finds! And don't you just love ticking? It's way up on top of my likes list.
I posted on breast cancer awareness today and I'd like you to read it because I can pretty much guarantee it's a story you've not heard before. How do I know this? Because each time it's told, I hear, ".......I've never heard of that before!"
It's an important topic and October is an important time to focus on it.
Have a great day and thanks!!!
Oh my gosh, I want that so bad! I'm desperate to find something better than my dinky coffee table. Good find!
Can't wait to see what you do with that. What potential!
