Sit Long, Talk Much, Laugh Often...

I have always wanted to stencil a saying/quote. However, I knew stenciling was out of my skill set. Thankfully technology has evolved for those of us that are 'stencil-challenged'. About two years back I purchased one of those peel'n'stick/rub on stencils. Even though all the words were joined together so I didn't have to put on each letter, I balked at putting it up by myself. Finally a year or so ago I roped my friend Kathy D into helping me put it up. Kathy wanted to get out a ladder and level...of course that would require me to get those tools out of the garage, and I was too lazy to do so. We used what was handy...dining room chairs and a quilt ruler. It was easy to rub on with the popsicle stick utensil that came with it and it will come off easily when you heat it with a blow dryer. Kathy is amazed that for the most part the stencil is centered and level.

This quote sums up exactly what I would like to have happen when friends and family come by.
My friend Carol gave me these beautiful tulips. I couldn't get over how they were standing up, as they usually droop over.

For those that follow my blog and read my Addicted to Blue and White post...the photos above continue the blue and white tour.

If you want to check out my bathing beauities they were featured in this post.

I handlettered a couple of sayings in the house and stenciled one. I'll have to do a post on it. I love the saying you chose!

Hi,
Did you know that tulips grow as they are in the vase? True! Be sure to watch yours and you will find them getting longer.
They are rather magical flowers.
Love the quote! Great job!
