Garage Sale Season Finally Underway...
Yesterday I spent the day working at a friend's garage sale. Lots of the shoppers were so excited as it was their first garage sale of the season here in the Twin Cities (Minneapolis, St. Paul MN). Even though the sun eventually made an appearance, the wind made for a chilly day, and caused our signs to point in the wrong direction...which I think hurt business.
I didn't plan to buy anything, but came away with the following never used items: 9X13 Pyrex pan, whisk, sifter, wireless mouse, and Liz Claiborne wallet. I have been doing a lot of baking, so the pan, whisk and sifter will come in handy. Been wanting a wireless mouse for quite some time but didn't want to spend the money on one. The wallet will be used in my briefcase for holding business cards, etc.
Thanks for stopping by...

I love garage sales...haven't been to any yet this season.
I have a cordless mouse and keyboard...just love em both.
Have a great day...
there are no real garage sales here in my little town. well there's one big one every year. but that's it...i really miss garage sales.
Renee, you got some great finds there. It's so much fun to run across things we can really use for a bargain price. Good for you!
Have a blessed Easter! Nancy
I went to my first garage sale of the season too today!! Had a blast!!
I look forward to this time of year each & every year. This year more so as we now have our own home. I'll be on the look out for cast iron pieces for the garden, a metal bed for the master and a fantastic twin hd/ft board for the spare/showroom. I love Spring!
Hi:
I was just stopping by to see what you were up to. For some silly reason my hand, which was so much better, is really hurting today so I am not up to typing. So I made this little message to let you know I still came by...and I loved your post because I always do!
