Let's Play Games...

I love old game boards. My talented friend Suzanne made three game boards for me. She does such a fabulous job of making them look old. They use to be strung together as a headboard...now two of them are hung as art and one sits on a dresser in a guest room. When my nieces were young we would take the headboard off the wall and play with the game boards. Not only is Suzanne talented, so is her sister Barbara who makes rugs...check out their website Old Glory Rugs and Games.

Hi Renee -

What great gameboards! I just peeked at Suzanne's website. She and her sister have some great boards and rugs. I have a sister who would love that large flag rug. She would also love that wonderful flag quilt hanging in your guest room. Did you make that?

I've been reading through some of your past posts (to see what fun I've missed LOL) and I have to ask... did you ever find a use for those beautiful carriage garage doors you got from your neighbor?

Wow, I had to take a closer look at the game boards. I really thought they were "old". What a fabulous piece to have hanging on the wall!
