Standing 21” tall and extending 28” across -- it is big! I bought this basket for $15 at a neighbor’s garage sale this weekend. Overall it is in excellent condition. I think it was a good deal at $15. l don’t have a clue where I will put it or what I will use it for…but for the price I couldn’t pass it up.
Does anyone know if this basket has a name? What do you think it is worth? Let me know by taking the basket survey on the sidebar.

I believe it used to have a basket lid and it came in several 'nesting' sizes. (I had some very similar, if not identical, for years.) I think its name is Charlie.
Great find. It looks perfect and will have a million and one uses.
Is it a Longaberger basket? If so, I think it is a laundry basket. I love PJ's name for it, I think Charlie is cute!
I have many Longaberger baskets and it does look like a laundry basket- wow, nice find for $15.00!
That's a big basket! I like when I scroll over the second picture, it looks like I'm falling in! It looks old, and very well made. Worth every bit of $15 I'd say!
Great basket...I have a similar one and use it in my livingroom to store throw blankets in it. It gets cold here in Idaho LOL.

I don't much about baskets admittedly but I do know what I like. I like it. I fear my cats would take over this basket and claim it as their own.
Oh my goodnees!! After commenting on your thrifty finds, I visited your blog for a little while and what a beautiful blog you have. I LOVED the Ellen clip..I'm still laughing, too funny!!!

It is a great basket. No idea what the worth would be but great find.
It sure looks like a Longaberger basket to me! That's a great find, thanks for joining the party.
Love your basket. I don't know the name but you will have a ton of uses.

I know nothing about baskets, but you could use it for storing rolled up towels in the bathroom.
Looks Longaberger. I like it.
Great basket and you can use it for so many things. I think you found a great deal!
It sure looks like a Longaberger basket! Great find!
I think it's a laundry basket. Very nice:) Does it have any markings on the bottom?
What else did you find??
Maybe you can make the sale next month in Shakopee.
