I have seen letters used in creative ways… but I haven’t ever seen one on a chimney…what a clever idea.

Putting letters on chimneys was all the rage when I was a kid growing up -- back in dinosaur days, aka the 50s and 60s. Most of the bigger houses in our neighborhood, with lovely prominent chimneys, had big scrolly or Old English style black iron monograms applied to them.
I grew up on Long Island; maybe it was a local thing!
