I bought these two Nash's Toasted Coffee jars for 50 cents at an estate sale recently. Loved the scratched, red lid and the design on the jar. Using them to store wheat flour and flaxseed, rather than coffee, as I don't drink coffee. In doing some research on these jars I found similar Nash's Coffee jars for sale online anywhere from $5 - $35.
The jars are displayed next to my glass canisters in the dead corner behind the kitchen sink, along with the pig cutting board that my grandfather made me 30 some years ago.
As you can see by the pics below I like to keep the items I use frequently at my finger tips rather than behind cupboard doors.

I just love love love these cute jars. I will be looking for some, too. I like leaving my most used items out, too...just easy and also gives a great decorator look to a kitchen, I think...
I also want some the large clear jars you have with the pretty cups in them. Wonder where to get those jars...Walmart?

Oh what a great idea, I love glass jars and those are fabulously vintage sweet!!! Your kitchen looks so amazing too, I love your plate racks and also the cabinets are so so pretty! I love that tea cup idea, I've seen that and thought it was so unique and sweet !! Every thing looks great!
Thanks for stopping in for a visit and leaving such sweet comments too! I did the blog button over at Scrapblog and then finally found the code to create the "grab box" after goggling it and reading a few tutorials :) I have it book marked if you needed the site.

What a great deal! They look fantastic!
Thanks so much for visiting my blog...I love old jars as well, and the way you used the blue and white teacups in them...so lovely! I'm adding you to my blog list.
Have a nice weekend.
Lisa
I am so excited about your blog! I love these jars, and will stay on the lookout for them. They would be so cute in a craft room, too.
Love the jars and how you've used them!
P.S. There's an award for you on my blog!
I love the jars and the story behind them but what I really love is your pristine white cabinets.

Those old jars are great! Love your kitchen.
Bye,
Marianne.
Those are so pretty. And so is your kitchen. I love the teacup idea instead of a measuring cup. It's fun to go to sales and find something you can use and also at a good price. ;)
I love your old jars for storage! The weathered tops add so much charm! I also use flax seed in my baking and so when I saw your jar collection I was even more delighted! :o) What a treasured keep sake you have from your grandpa! I have a baby cradle my grandpa made for my aunt when she was young child, and it is tucked in my closet for lack of vision in decorating with it.
Sincerely ~ Tricia Anne
I love jars! They look really nice! :) Martha
