Unbelievable...

This is a headboard in a friend's master bedroom. There are two matching dressers as well. I must say I don't think I have ever seen anything quite so spectacular, that isn't in my opinion, garish. I have seen a lot of carved headboards but this is by far the most beautiful. I wish I had captured the the very top of it. I never even looked closely at the footboard as I was so taken with the headboard.

    The carving is exquisite! I can see this piece having several lifetimes - as a headboard, bench, wall hanging with mirror inserts, etc.

    Very neat! I also like the blue shutter head board you have. I would like something like that. How did you attach that? Hubby and I bought a new bed a few months ago without a headboard because I wanted to wait and decide what I want. I'm still trying to decide! But I do like those shutters!
