These branding irons represent my initials
RC. Back in 1998 I purchased a home and the sellers, Rosemary and Clarence found these branding irons when they were packing up and were very gracious and gave me them to me. I in turn gave them to my father as they are his initials as well. When my dad died in 2001 I moved them to the floor of my living room. I have tried several different ways to display them but haven't landed on anything I like. Last week I tried them on a few tables for a change.

I like them on the table...also, I wonder how they would look, mounted on a pretty board, with the actual brand in the middle...? Sounds good to me...:O)
ReplyDeleteIsn't it great when you have something so neat and history to go with it!? I love these on the green table. What would happen to set or hang them with some kind of mirror so the "reflected" letters would be the right direction?
