My love of blue and white is crazy. This is a Ralph Lauren Putney Paisley fitted sheet my friend Melinda found at the Goodwill for $6. I draped it across my bed to see what it would look like as a duvet cover. I am not sure if it will become a duvet cover or bed skirt or curtains or the back of a quilt. I wish I could sew clothes like Vanessa of V and Co. Not only does she make amazing clothes from sheets, she cuts sheets up to make quilt tops and has made a rug out of sheets.

That is so beautiful. For $6 you can do anything you want!
ReplyDeleteI would love to see that as a duvet cover! It's beautiful!
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful sheet. The possibilities are endless! I am looking for a pretty sheet to make into a shower curtain! :o) Wish we had a Goodwill! :o)

Isn't that beautiful and isn't it a kick to find a treasure at the Good Will!

You can't really tell that it is a sheet because it is so pretty. And you can't beat the price..;) It looks great on the bed.

Go ahead - cut it up. The first cut is the hardest, but you can totally do it.
ReplyDeleteI vote for duvet cover. If it's too small as is you can find fabric (or another sheet) in one of the solid blues and add a border. Just make a big envelope with ties on one end to tie it shut.
ReplyDeleteOOOOOHHHHHH, LOVELY FIND. LUCK DUCK.
