What is it...

So...what is it? Probably a vent, but I am not sure...in my house it is a magazine rack.
And yes, it is in 'that' room...some day when I feel like taking on the task of trying to mount it to the plaster wall it won't have to sit on 'that' thing.

    I love this! I love vents and any kind of architectural things...I have an old vent but I just put it on the wall above my fridge and it looks pretty cool. Serves no purpose but...looks good while it's doing it!! lol
