I bought a pair of leather topped Uggs three years ago and I love them…let me count the ways. They are perfect for Minnesota winters. They keep my feet warm even when it is well below zero. The crewel embroidery on this fabric is phenomenal. My friend Jayne found this fabric at the Alameda Flea Market. I have been wanting a counter top compost pail but I have been too cheap to pay $39 for one. Finally found one on sale for $15 at TJ Maxx. However, after using it for a week or so I am waffling on it. I don’t like having it on the counter and it doesn’t hold much. I think it will have to find a new home off the counter. Found this incredible piece on the street in the neighborhood. Thankfully my friend April was there to help me load it. Lifting and carrying the top cushion is a two person job, let along the base. I have given up on trying to keep my measuring cups organized in a drawer. My new method which is just piling them in a bowl (which is kept in a cupboard) and pulling out the bowl when I bake.   Bought this glass coffee pot at a garage sale for $1. I loved the style. I don’t drink coffee but I thought it would make a good ice tea pot.   When I had it apart cleaning the pieces it struck me that the primary container on its own would make a cool vase for flowers.
